Tree Removal Permit Application

Any person wishing to remove tree(s) from a property must obtain an approved tree removal permit.
 
Please Note
  • An approved city tree removal permit shall identify which trees are to be removed, methods of protection from impacts of construction, and the tree replacement requirements necessary to compensate for the loss of protected trees. The minimum compensation requirements shall be the number of replacement trees required to maintain compliance with the minimum tree requirements in section LDR Section 115-10.
  • Application must include a tree inventory that indicates the location, species and DBH* of the tree(s) to be removed and the trees to be preserved at the property. 

    *DBH mean Diameter Breast Height measured 54" above the grade at the base of the tree

Step 3.Once application is received and approved, you will receive your approved tree removal permit via mail. 

In-Person

Step 1.Pick up a permit application in our office or download and print off the form and bring with you completed.
