Step 3.Apply for a Position

We are happy to accept applications submitted through our online application system, NeoGov.  Once you find the job you are interested in applying for, click the green "Apply" button at the top right of the screen.  You will be prompted to set up an account via our online application system, NeoGov.  If you have already created an account with NeoGov previously, you will be able to log into your account and apply.

Step 4.Application Review 

If you are selected to move forward in the process, we will contact you regarding the next step in the hiring process.  This process may take two to four weeks.  Please allow time for the processing of your application.  Only candidates with the most job-related experience will be contacted.


What to Expect During the Hiring Process 

Generally, our hiring process consists of application submission, review, assessment/skills testing (if applicable), interviews, background check, conditional offer of employment, pre-employment requirements (if applicable), and official job offer.  The entire process may take up to 90 days before a final hiring decision is made.


Please note: Under s.119.01 FS, all application materials are public record and subject to public scrutiny.  Only those applicants with the most job-related qualifications will be selected for interview and further consideration.  These applicants will be contacted via email shortly after the closing date on the job posting (if applicable).  Final candidates for special risk and mandatory testing positions under s. 440.102 FS will be required to undergo drug testing as a condition of employment.  Final candidates for positions that are physically demanding or expose the employee to safety hazards will be required to undergo a pre-employment physical.  Final employment is contingent upon satisfactory results of required drug testing and/or physical, as well as a complete background check including criminal history and driver’s license check (if applicable).

In-Person

The online application via NeoGov is the preferred method, but printed applications are also available in person at 109-A East Orange Ave, Eustis.  Office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
