Happy Birthday George! The City of Eustis celebrates George Washington’s Birthday during a week-long, family-friendly event taking place February 15-22, 2025. Georgefest is the longest running celebration of George Washington’s Birthday in the State of Florida, and is now the longest, continuously running celebration of its kind in the entire United States.
Featuring carnival rides and games, a bass tournament, Running of the Georges Race, a dog jog, parade, contests, vendors, and awesome live entertainment!

POINT OF GRACE
Platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated Point of Grace will join us on the historic bandshell stage for our Kick-Off Concert in the Park, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 7:30 p.m.

LOVE AND THEFT
Love and Theft is an American country music duo formed in 2006 consisting of Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson. Known for their harmony vocals and compelling songwriting, they first gained attention with their hit single "Runaway" in 2009. Their self-titled album includes the chart-topping single "Angel Eyes," which solidified their place in country music. Blending contemporary sounds with traditional country influences, Love and Theft's music captures heartfelt narratives and catchy melodies. Love and Theft has electrified audiences at thousands of shows, including prominent fairs, festivals, esteemed clubs, and international venues. Their magnetic presence and engaging performances make them a crowd favorite everywhere they go.

Jo Dee Messina kicked off her notable career with “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” a single that immediately made her a household name. Following the success of her debut, Jo Dee posted nine No. 1 hits and sixteen Top 40 songs and was honored by the ACM Awards, CMA Awards, and GRAMMY Awards. As Jo Dee’s résumé grew, she proved to be a trendsetter and history-maker, becoming the first female in country music history to celebrate three consecutive multi-week, chart-topping songs.
Jo Dee has also created a reputation for herself as one of the most passionate, high-energy performers in the business. Sharing her hit tunes; unreleased, emotionally-driven songs; worship music; and personal testimony, Jo Dee has been traveling the country for many years, receiving rave reviews for her authenticity, commitment, and openness on stage. The Robert Randolph Band
A virtuoso on the pedal steel guitar, Robert Randolph burst onto the music scene in the early 2000's with his fiery, passionate instrumental work and heartfelt music. It didn't take long for Robert's talents to get in front of numerous guitar legends, including Eric Clapton. Upon first listen, Clapton tapped Robert Randolph & the Family Band to tour the world opening for his band and include him in every iteration of the legendary Crossroads Festival.
Robert's innovative approach to the pedal steel guitar has earned him four Grammy nominations, multiple Blues Music Awards, a BMI award, and Rolling Stone named Randolph one of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time". His work can be heard on numerous tv and film broadcasts, including his longstanding theme song for the New York Knicks "Get There", and "Ain't Nothing Wrong With That", the current theme song for NFL Thursday Night Football.
Off stage, Robert has a long demonstrated history of community involvement and driving meaningful social change. He utilizes his passion for humanity and his diverse talents to bring people of all backgrounds together to create empowered communities that allow everyone to live their best lives.

The Georgefest Grand Parade will be held Saturday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m. Heading North on Bay Street beginning at Badger Avenue we do expect heavy traffic and expect delays in the Downtown area, so arrive early and enjoy our pre-parade strolling entertainment.

Get ready for the annual Dog Jog! This year's Dog Jog, hosted by the Lake County Humane Society, will be on Feb. 22 at 9 a.m., before the Grand Parade. Registration information coming soon.
Take part in the 10th annual Running of the Georges 5K to embrace the start of the Georgefest festivities. The run will be on Saturday, Feb. 8 at 8 a.m. and will begin in Ferran Park. Early Registration is $25 or $30 on the day of the race. All in-person 5K participants will receive a race shirt, and chip timing with live results and an individual results page with a finisher certificate and a 20 second clip of you crossing the start and finish line!
The Georgefest 2025 Kids Fun Run will be on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 at 10 a.m., following the Running of the Georges 5K. Kids can embrace the excitement and energy of the upcoming Georgefest celebration in this one mile run around Ferran Park. Early Registration is $15 or $20 on the day of the race.
