FDOT Road Project on SR 19 Published on August 23, 2024 Beginning on Aug. 26, 2024, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will begin two road improvement projects on State Road (SR) 19 near Downtown Eustis. These projects include enhancements to improve roadway and safety conditions for drivers and pedestrians. The exterior of the house was pressure washed, and is now being painted along with the gazebo in the back of the property. City to Resurface Streets Beginning Monday Published on March 08, 2024 The City of Eustis Public Works Department will begin resurfacing seven streets in the city on Monday, March 11, 2024. The work will begin at approximately 7:30 a.m. and end at approximately 5 p.m. Please do not park on the street during this time. One lane will remain open for the residents to use. Getford Road Closure Published on February 19, 2024 A portion of Getford Road will be closed beginning February 19, 2024.The City of Eustis, in collaboration with Cathcart Construction Company, will begin Phase One work Monday, February 19, 2024, for the installation of a new water pipe and gravity sewer system, incorporating manholes, along a section of Getford Road, which will be closed to through traffic. Duke Energy working on transmission line project Published on January 12, 2024 Duke Energy has been working on the Eustis-Dona Vista Transmission Reliability Project for several years. The purpose of the project is to improve service reliability and accommodate future growth. Duke Energy and their contractors are currently clearing trees and vegetation along the route.
