The City of Eustis will hold its free Fall Fest event on Saturday, October 19, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Ferran Park, located at 50 Ferran Park Drive in Eustis. The theme of this year’s Fall Fest is “Hollywood Halloween.”
The Fall Fest will begin with the annual Costume Contest on the Alice McClelland Bandshell stage. Registration for the contest will open on the same day as the Fall Fest, October 19, at 10 a.m. at the City of Eustis tent in Ferran Park. The contest will begin at 10:30 a.m. starting with the youngest age group. Participants are encouraged to arrive at the Alice McClelland Bandshell early, so that they do not miss their age group time.
Starting at 11 a.m., some of Hollywood’s most recognizable characters will be walking the red carpet. The Eustis High School Drama Club will be guest starring as costumed Hollywood characters. Photo opportunities with the Hollywood characters will be available throughout Ferran Park.
Other activities at the Fall Fest will include an inflatable corn maze, food trucks and vendors, with many of the food trucks participating in Trick-or-Treat candy giveaways for children.
