The City of Eustis is announcing an update to the fee structure for its ChargePoint electric vehicle (EV) charging stations located in the historic downtown area. Effective August 1, 2024, there will be a fee for using the ChargePoint charging stations, and an additional fee after the charging is complete.
The cost is $2.50 per hour for charging. After the vehicle is fully charged, owners will be given a 30-minute grace period to move the vehicle. Under the new fee structure, after this grace period, a fee of $10 per hour will be applied.
This update aims to encourage efficient use of the charging stations and ensure availability for all users.
ChargePoint Charging Stations Locations:
• Ferran Park (250 Ferran Park Drive, behind Bay Street)
• 128 N. Eustis Street
• 15 S. Eustis Street (in front of parking garage/Water Customer Service)
This change is part of the City’s continued effort to support sustainable transportation and provide reliable charging options for electric vehicle owners in Eustis.
