FDOT Road Project Updates

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is continuing safety and operational enhancements on State Road (S.R.) 19, from north of Stevens Avenue to County Road 452 in Eustis. Beginning on October 20, there will be overnight intersection closure closures along both southbound and northbound S.R. 19.

Waste Management Christmas and New Year's Schedule

The Employees of Waste Management will be observing the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. There will be no collection service on these days. Since no service is provided on the holidays, all collection day schedules for the week will be delayed one day.

Winterfest

The City of Eustis will hold the Winterfest event on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024. The free event will be from 5 – 8 p.m. in Carver Park, located at 2214 East Bates Ave. in Eustis. The event will feature holiday themed snacks, crafts and games for families to enjoy. Children will have the chance to sit with Santa to take photos and share their Christmas wishes.

Snowflakes by the Lake

Enjoy the holiday atmosphere at Snowflakes by the Lake throughout the month of December from 6 – 9 p.m. in Ferran Park. The first night of Snowflakes by the Lake will coincide with the December First Friday event happening in Downtown Eustis. Downtown Eustis and Ferran Park will be decorated with festive lights, wreaths and banners throughout December.
