PUBLIC NOTICE OF EUSTIS CITY COMMISSION ATTENDANCE
AT PUBLIC MEETINGS/EVENTS
JULY - AUGUST 2024

Notice is hereby given that more than one Eustis City Commissioner may attend and discuss matters relevant to the City of Eustis at the following public meetings and community events:

  • Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce 2024 Breakfast - (1st Wednesday of each month) Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 7:15 a.m. at Eustis Community Center located at 601 Northshore Drive, Eustis, FL.
  • Florida League of Cities 2024 Annual Conference – Thursday, August 15, 2024 to Friday, August 17, 2024 at the Diplomat Beach Resort located at 3555 S Ocean Dr, Hollywood, FL 33019.
  • Northshore Neighborhood Watch Meeting - (Every other month - 3rd Wednesday) Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Eustis Community Center (Lakeview Room) located at 601 Northshore Drive, Eustis, FL.

EUSTIS CITY COMMISSION
NOTICE OF WORKSHOP
MONDAY, JULY 15, 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Eustis City Commission will conduct a workshop Monday, July 15, 2024, at 5:30 p.m.  The purpose of the workshop is to discuss City utilities and will be held in the Commission Room located in City Hall.  The agenda will be posted to the City’s website no later than Friday, July 12, 2024.  For additional information, contact the City Clerk’s office at (352) 483-5441, via email at cityclerk@eustis.org or in person in the City Manager’s office at 10 N. Grove Street, Eustis.

NOTICE OF EUSTIS CITY COMMISSION EXEMPT MEETING
Re: Collective Bargaining Negotiations
JULY 18, 2024 – 5:00 P.M.

Notice is hereby given pursuant to F.S. 286.011 (8) (d) and F.S. 447.605 of an exempt meeting of the City Commission of the City of Eustis and the City Manager to discuss collective bargaining and negotiation strategies with the Florida Police Benevolent Association, Inc. and International Association of Firefighters Local 4731, Units A and B, on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the Development Services Conference Room, located at 10 N. Grove St., Eustis FL 32726.  Those in attendance will be: City of Eustis Commissioners Gary Ashcraft and Willie Hawkins, Vice Mayor Emily Lee and Mayor Michael Holland, City Manager Tom Carrino, Human Resources Director Bill Howe, Human Resources Coordinator Karen Crouch and Labor Attorney Jeff Mandel with Fisher & Phillips.

 

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission, Agency or other above-named Board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Florida Statutes, 286.0105).  Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the office of the City Clerk at (352) 483-5430, at least 48 hours before the date of the scheduled meeting.
