PUBLIC NOTICE OF EUSTIS CITY COMMISSION ATTENDANCE
AT PUBLIC MEETINGS/EVENTS
January - February - March 2025

As of January 17, 2025

Notice is hereby given that more than one Eustis City Commissioner may attend and discuss matters relevant to the City of Eustis at the following public meetings and community events:

  • I have A Dream – “We are One!” 2025 MLK Celebration Events – Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Ecumenical Service/Gospel Concert at Trinity Church located at 890 Abrams Road, Eustis, FL and Monday, January 20, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. Continental Breakfast/Unity Walk at Eustis Memorial Library located at 120 Center Street, Eustis, FL followed by Family Run, Food & Entertainment at Ferran Park located at 250 Ferran Park Drive, Eustis, FL 32726.
  • “We Make Lake” Network Meeting – Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lake Technical College located at 2001 Kurt St, Eustis, FL.
  • Regency Park Assisted Living & Memory Care Ribbon Cutting Celebration Ceremony – Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Regency Park located at 15000US 441, Eustis, FL.
  • TEDxEustis Luminaries Luncheon – Friday, January 31, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.in Downtown Eustis at the Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce or My Favorite Things (TBD).
  • “We Make Lake” Network Meeting – Thursday, February 4, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lake Technical College located at 2001 Kurt St, Eustis, FL.
  • Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce Breakfast - (1st Wednesday of each month) Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 7:15 a.m. at Eustis Community Center located at 601 Northshore Drive, Eustis.
  • Lake 100 “Economic Update” – Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Venetian located at 1 Dozier Cir, Leesburg, FL 34748.
  • Lake County League of Cities Luncheon – (2nd Friday of each month) Friday, February 14, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Eustis Community Center located at 601 Northshore Dr, Eustis, FL.

LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY MEETING (LPA)
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2025 AT 5:00 P.M.

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., the Eustis City Commission sitting as the Local Planning Agency will meet and hold a Public Hearing regarding the following items: Ordinance Numbers 25-04, 25-07 and 25-10. The meeting will be held in the City Hall Commission Room, located at 10 N. Grove St., Eustis, FL. The agenda and information pertaining to the business of the LPA is available through the City’s website or through the City Clerk’s office, located in City Hall at 10 N. Grove Street during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

 

 

If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission, Agency or other above-named Board with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based (Florida Statutes, 286.0105).  Persons with disabilities needing assistance to participate in any of these proceedings should contact the office of the City Clerk at (352) 483-5430, at least 48 hours before the date of the scheduled meeting.
