2024 Elections

The following candidates have qualified to run in the Nov. 5, 2024 election for the Eustis City Commission.

Seat #4 George Asbate, Nicie Allen Parks, John Potts, Michael Gambino

Seat #5 Emily Lee, Blake Griswold

Interim Commissioner Applications

The Eustis City Commission is currently accepting applications for the position of Interim Commissioner to fill Seat #4, which is currently vacant. The application period began Monday, Aug. 19 at 8 a.m. and continues until Friday, Aug. 30 at 5 p.m.

Applications are available at the Eustis City Clerk’s office in City Hall, 10 North Grove Street, in Eustis. The applicant must provide a current voter registration card and a Florida photo ID, such as a driver’s license, with the application. All applicants must have resided in the City of Eustis for at least one year.

All applicants who pass a background check will be asked to attend a special meeting of the City Commission at 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, 2024 to be interviewed by Commissioners. The appointment will be made at that meeting and the newly appointed Commissioner will participate in all regularly scheduled City Commission meetings from Sept. 19, 2024 until January 2025, when the newly elected officials are sworn in.
